Pryantel pamoate is a highly effective wormer used for the removal of pinworms, roundworms and hookworms in horses and ponies. The concentration is 50 mg pyrantel pamoate per mL. Dosage: Administer 3 mg pyrantel base per pound of body weight (6 mL EQUI-PHAR Protal per 100 lb body weight) Directions for Use: Administer by means of a stomach tube, dose syringe or by mixing into the feed. Stomach Tube: Mix appropriate dosage in the desired quantity of water. Administer immediately after mixing. Do not store diluted suspension. Syringe: Draw approproate dosage into dose syringe and administer to the animal. Feed: Mix appropriate dosage in the normal grain ration. Fasting of animals prior to or following treatment is not required.
